The SCS product line includes the Portable AppleTalk Protocol Family, AppleTalk protocols for non-Macintosh platforms, and PacerTerm providing multi-session, multi-protocol Macintosh terminal emulation.

  • Portable AppleTalk - a complete line of portable AppleTalk® technology - protocol stack, router, Apple® Remote Access (ARA) server, AppleShare® file server, and PostScript® print server. Licensed by many fax, router, printer and remote access vendors, the portable AppleTalk technology has been ported to many different operating system and embedded environments. OEM clients include Apple, Digital, Microsoft, 3Com, Motorola, Telebit and Xyplex.
     

  • PacerTerm - Mac-based terminal access to corporate network environments and the Internet. Its combination of terminal emulation, connection and file transfer options integrate a variety of protocols into one communication application. Users can open and monitor several simultaneous terminal emulation or file transfer sessions to one or more hosts.

Legacy products were developed by SCS personnel while at Pacer Software. Pacer was founded by SCS co-founder Garth Conboy and was acquired in 1995.
